“A Traveling School of Fish” – Jefferson Elementary Students revitalize the Sculpture Park!

These wooden fish from the Franklin Sculpture Park needed a fresh coat of paint! Jefferson 4th and 5th grade students have been working diligently in their Art Explorations classes to re-design and paint these fish sculptures so that they can be reinstalled into the Franklin Sculpture Park. These artists are so excited to share their hard work and creativity with their community!

The “Re-Dedication Ceremony” for students, parents and community members on Wednesday June 7th at 5pm at the Sculpture Park was a huge success. Student artists, parents and community members celebrated this wonderful community partnership and the vision of the Town of Franklin, Artist and organizer Amy Adams, Jefferson Principal Stefani Wasik, Art Teacher Caroline Whelan, and of course, the students!
